The Fabulous New Range Rover Sport

James Bond 007 – aka Daniel Craig – unveiled the 2014 version of this iconic vehicle at a glitzy event in New York.  The glamorously sleek exterior is matched by a superbly luxurious interior and it is laden with techno gadgets galore!

This version sits neatly between the smaller Evoque and larger Range Rover and will be offered in four models – SE, HSE, Supercharged and Autobiography; it is available for order now with delivery in the UK during the summer 2013. With an aluminium chassis the new Sport is much lighter than its predecessor making it much more nimble and improving the mpg, it is also longer and lower so it even looks meaner and leaner! Sat-nav, DAB radio and parking sensors are included across the range while the Autobiography gets upgraded leather trim and adaptive cruise control among its many extras. Positively bristling with technology the sport features many options, including the latest Terrain Response system, head-up display, electric power steering system, wide angle rear parking radar, wading depth sensor (an industry first) with wading depth display, all round cameras showing the road position of the wheels, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warnings, traffic sign recognition using the forward facing camera to inform the driver of speed limits and advisory road signs, infotainment touch screen, TFT gauge display – higher end models will have an impressive 12.3 inch screen. A Smartphone app is to be released by Land Rover, similar to the Seat HMI app, which will communicate with the Sport giving vehicle location and security alerts and for logging journey details (mpg and distance, etc).

The superior build quality and generous touches of luxury along with impressive off road credentials mean this latest version of the Range Rover Sport is certain to be a world wide success.
